Tina Roy Programme Manager Tina was born and educated in Kolkata. She did has a first class degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, a post graduate diploma in Mass Communication, and an M-Phil, with distinction, in Women’s Studies with Gender as the focal point in socio-cultural context.
Tina comes to CSM from Concern India Foundation where she worked as Asst. Manager Projects in her branch, working to support grassroot level organizations with financial aid. Prior to this she worked for NGOs such as Women’s Interlink Foundation and networks such as ATSEC (Action Against Trafficking & Sexual Exploitation of Women & Children). She has also worked on care and protection programmes for children and women supported by USAID, Goal India, TDH and the European Union including a UNDP endogenous eco-tourism project in West Bengal.
At CSM, Tina is responsible for programmes in the Eastern region run out of CSM Kolkata, in particular outreach for the Climate Challenge India initiative. Tina is married to a doctor in Kolkata. She has close ties with her family, friends and colleagues and enjoys reading, and travelling.
